Number Posters 0-20

These posters will help consolidate number sense. 

Students need to see the same number in many ways to build up a picture of each number.

This helps with place value, how we say numbers, knowing the sequence and helping to initiate conversations about numbers in our world.

They are now available in our store.

In Australia, Foundation is our first year of Primary. They are our 5 and 6 year old students. 

The set contains 0 as it is important to know where 0 sits and have an understanding of zero - it is not nothing, it is zero. It holds a place and without it 10, 101, 1001 do not make sense.

Next week look out for our first Australian money unit. There will be a series of them over the next few months.

Usually on Wednesday night we blog about a new product we have put together. This Wednesday we wanted to have our iSURF(c) signs/posters up for you to see.

However, they are not quite finished. We haven't been able to proof read them and we are still checking that the colours are right when we post them.

 

Each proficiency

Understanding

Reasoning and

as well as

 

individual goals

 

will have a poster - a definition and be accompanied by a set of cards.

These cards will outline what is relevant at each level and be colour coded to each proficiency.

 

You will be able to use them in any classroom - P-10.
